Ķīnas upju pakļaušana un kontrolēšana: no mītiem līdz hidroenerģijai

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Ķīnas upju pakļaušana un kontrolēšana: no mītiem līdz hidroenerģijai”. Upju apgūšanai un kontrolēšanai ir sena vēsture. Ķīnas iedzīvotāji kopš senatnes ir pratuši izmanotot upes dažādiem nolūkiem – tie būvēja irigācijas sistēmas un rezervuārus lauku apūdeņošanai, cēla dambjus, lai pasargātu sevi no plūdiem un ražotu elektrību. Izpētīta arī ķīniešu mitoloģija un senākās vēstures liecības par cilvēku centieniem pārvaldīt upes. Darba mērķis ir upju apgūšanas un kontrolēšanas tradīciju un iemeslu izpēte, kā arī iedziļināšanās dambju, ūdens kanālu un irigācijas sistēmu celtniecības vēsturē. Darba galvenie jautājumi ir: Kādi bija galvenie iemesli ķīniešu centieniem pakļaut upes? Kādi ir iemesli mūsdienu Ķīnas dambju celtniecībā un upju kontrolēšanā? Ar kādām problēmām saskārās plūdu skartie iedzīvotāji un tie, kas bija spiesti pamest savas mājas dambju celtniecības rezultātā? Darba gaitā tika noskaidrots, ka Senās Ķīnas un Ķīnas Tautas Republikas dambju celtniecības iemesli atšķīrās. Senatnē cilvēkiem bija svarīgi pasargāt sevi no plūdiem, mūsdienās lielāka nozīme dambju celtniecībai ir elektroenerģijas ražošana. Darbs sastāv no 2 daļām: „Agrikulturālas sabiedrības veidošanās un upju apgūšanas vēsture”, kur apskatīta gan mitoloģija, kas saistīta ar ūdeņu pakļaušanu un kontrolēšanu, gan literārie darbi, kuros pieminēta dambju, kanālu un irigācijas sistēmu pirmsākumi; un „Ķīnas Tautas Republikas upju izmantošanas politika”, kur, galvenokārt, tiek aprakstītas cilvēku sociālās problēmas, kas saistītas ar dambju celtniecību un dambju celtniecības nozīme Ķīnas Tautas Republikas attīstībā.

The title of this bachelor`s paper is „Taming and Controlling Chinese Rivers: from Myths to Hydro Energy”. River taming and control has a long history. Since ancient times, Chinese people have been able to use rivers for different purposes – they built irrigation systems and reservoirs for field irrigation, built dams to protect themselves from floods and to produce electricity. In this work, author studied Chinese mythology and history of oldest evidence of human efforts to manage the rivers. The aim of this work is to study the reasons for river taming and controlling tradition, as well as to go deep into dam, water channel and irrigation system construction history. The main questions are: What were the main reasons for Chinese people to tame the rivers? What are the causes of modern China`s dam construction and river control? What are the problems of flood-affected people and those who were forced from their homes by the construction of dams? During the research author has found out that Ancient China`s and Peoples Republic of China dam construction had different reasons. In ancient times, it was important for people to protect themselves from floods, nowadays, more important role of dam construction is the production of electricity. This paper consists of 2 parts: „Emergence of agricultural society and river taming history”, which deals with both the mythology associated to water taming and control, as well as literary works, referring to the origins of dams, channels and irrigations systems; and „River harnessing policy of Peoples Republic of China”, where is described human social problems associated with the construction of dams and dam construction role in the development of the Peoples Republic of China.
