Valodas lietojums Eiropas konverģences ziņojumos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīti salikti vārdi Eiropas konverģences ziņojumos un nozīme, ko tie veido un valodas funkcijas, kuras tie izsaka. Darba mērķis ir analizēt salikteņus (saliktus vārdus) un saliktu vārdu frāzes konverģences ziņojumos, saistībā ar nozīmi, ko tie rada un funkcijas, kuras tie veic šajos ziņojumos. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek izklāstītas valodas funkcijas, vārdu nozīme, ziņojumu žanrs un vārdu veidošanas principi. Darba praktiskajā daļā tiek aprakstīti un doti saliktu vārdu piemēri, kas lietoti izvēlētajos konverģences ziņojumos. Darba izpētes metode ir diskursa analīze. Darba rezultātā tiek parādītas valodas funkcijas un saliktu vārdu nozīmes Eiropas konverģences ziņojumos.

The present paper investigates the compound words used in the European Convergence Reports and the meaning they create and the language functions they express. The goal of this paper is to analyse compound words and compound phrases in convergence reports in terms of the meaning they create and in terms of the function they perform in these reports. The theoretical part discusses the language functions, word meaning, report genre and word formation principles. The empirical part of the research describes and gives examples of compound words that are used in the selected convergence reports. The research method is discourse analysis. The results of the present research indicate the language functions and the meaning of compound words in the European Convergence Reports.
