Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Ekotūrisma attīstības un vides aizsardzības mērķu saskaņošana teorijā un praksē: dabas parka „Pape” piemērs” izstrādāts ar mērķi apzināt ekotūrisma attīstības un vides aizsardzības mērķu saskaņotību dabas parka „Pape” piemērā. Pētījuma būtība ir novērtēt, kā izveidotā teritorija atbilst ekotūrisma attīstības principiem un vides aizsardzības mērķu īstenošanai praksē, un kā tā spēj apmierināt iesaistīto ieinteresēto pušu vajadzības. Galvenie rezultāti norāda uz vides aizsardzības problemātiku un trūkumiem, kas kavē ekotūrismu attīstību konkrētajā piemērā - neskaidra izpratne par ekotūrismu, nesakārtota likumdošana un finansējuma trūkums, kā arī cilvēku attieksme pret dabas un kultūras vērtībām. The aim of bachelor thesis „Linkage between ecotourism development and environmental protection in theory and practice: example of nature park „Pape”” is to study the link between ecotourism development and environmental protection as seen in nature park „Pape”. The basis of research is to evaluate the compatibility of ecotourism principles and environmental protection goals in theory and practice, and how they satisfy the needs of involved sides (local community, environmental institutions, ecotourists). Results show imperfections in environmental protection issues and disturbing factors of ecotourism development – unclear perception of the sense of ecotourism, imperfections in legislation, shortage of finance, and society’s attitude towards natural and cultural values.
