dc.description.abstract | Konfūcisms ir radies vairāk nekā pirms diviem tūkstošiem gadu. Par tās dibinātāju tiek uzskatīts Konfūcijs (孔夫子; Kong Fuzi; 551-479 pr. Kr.).
Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Confucianism has arisen more than two thousand years ago. Its founder is considered to be Confucius (孔夫子; Kong Fuzi; 551-479 BC). His teaching on ethics has influenced the development of Chinese philosophy until today. Confucianism traditionally counts as moral and political philosophy which focuses on search of the ideal person.
The thesis consists of three parts. In order to comprehend hierarchic order in Confucius ethics the first part gives a slight insight of concepts ren (仁): benevolance or humanity, xiao (孝): filial piety, zhong (忠): loyalty and shu (恕): reciprocity. As 20th century represents great changes in Chinese political and ethical life the second part of thesis examines development of Confucianism in 20th century. The third part analyzes the existence of hierarchic order in modern China. Confucius ethics states that there are gender, age and position differences. For this reason I examine government and ruling elite in China at the end of last century and beginning of 21st century. This chapter also states the relationship between family members as well as gender relationships in modern China. | en_US |
