Tehnoloģisko iekārtu un sistēmu instrukciju tulkošana

Abstract

Šī darba ietvaros tika veikts pētījums par tehnoloģisko iekārtu un sistēmu tehnisko dokumentu tulkošanu. Darba gaitā tika apspriesti galvenie aspekti par to, kāpēc ir nepieciešams veikt precīzu tulkojumu šo iekārtu dokumentācijai. Mērķis ir pierādīt, ka svarīgi ir veikt šāda veida tulkojumus kvalitatīvi. Darbs sastāv no ievada, iztirzājuma ar 3 nodaļām, attiecīgām apakšnodaļām, nobeiguma un pielikumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā „Tulka loma tehniskajā sfērā” ir uzsvērta specifisko tehnisko dokumentu nozīme ražošanas sfērā, kā arī tiek minētas tehniskajam tulkam nepieciešamās zināšanas un īpašības. Otrā nodaļa „Tehnoloģijas un metodes, kas tiek pielietotas tulkošanas procesā” ir plašāka, tajā autore apskata veidus, kā iespējams veikt kvalitatīvu un precīzu tulkojumu tehniskajai dokumentācijai. Tiek sniegti dažādi tulkošanas problēmu piemēri, kā arī analizēti tulkošanas palīglīdzekļi. Iztirzātas specifisko tekstu tulkošanas grūtības un problēmas. Autore ne tikai iepazīstina lasītājus ar grūtībām, bet arī sniedz savus priekšlikumus un risinājumus. Praktiskajā nodaļā tiek veikta tulkojumu analīze Koletes un HVAC sistēmas specifikācijām. Noslēgumā, autore izsaka savu viedokli par tulkošanas procesu un grūtībām, kas saistītas ar tehniska rakstura tekstu tulkošanu.

Within this work a research is done for translation of the technical documents for technological equipment and systems. During the research, the main aspects were discussed about, why it is important to perform translations accurately for the documentation of these equipments. The goal of this research is to prove the necessity to do the translation effectively. The paper consists of introduction, 3 chapters with subchapters, conclusion and appendixes. The importance of the specific documents in manufacturing field is underlined in the first chapter “The role of a translator within the technical field”. The necessity of translation for these documents is underlined. Knowledge and qualities, which are required to the translator, are discussed. In the second chapter “Technologies and methods applied for translation of technical documentation” the author describes the ways for qualitative and accurate translation of the technical documentation. Some examples for translation problems are given in the second chapter, and translation aid are considered, as well. Translation difficulties and problems of specific texts are discussed. Author not only introduces readers to the difficulties, but also gives her suggestions and solutions. There are analyses done for translations of the specifications of Colette and HVAC in the practical part of the paper. In conclusion, the author gives her opinion about translation process and difficulties related to translation of technical texts.
