Abstract

Diplomdarba „Valodas reģistra problemātika tulkošanā” viens no uzdevumiem ir aplūkot kāda ir valodas reģistra loma tulkošanās procesā un kā manipulācijas ar reģistru ietekmē tulkojuma kvalitāti un jēgu. Tāpat tiks aplūkots tas, kā reģistra izvēle ir saistīta ar ideoloģiskām interesēm, īpaši pievēršoties politiskajam diskursam, reliģiskajām runām un necenzētu izteikumu tulkošanas un ontoloģiskā statusa problemātikai. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai reģistrs kā grūti fiksējama un izplūdusi lingvistiskās analīzes vienība, tomēr satur skaidrojošu potenciālu un ir izmantojams, kā tulkojuma analīzes instruments un cik veiksmīgi tas atklāj mutiskās tulkošanas vietu ideoloģiski angažētajā oficiālās valodas telpā.My Thesis „The problems of register in interpretation” will focus on the role of register in the process of interpreting and will try to analyse how the manipulation with the register affects the meaning and quality of interpretation. The attention also will be paid on how the choice of particular register is related to ideological concerns, namely the field of political discourse, religious speeches and uncensored language. The aim of this thesis is to elucidate whether the notion of register considering its ephemeral nature still can be suitable for analysing the translation and revealing the status of interpreting in the idelogically engaged field of official language.
