Abstract

Salīdzinoši vēl nesen tika uzskatīts, ka sievietei Osmāņu impērijas laikā nebija nekādas lomas, izņemot to, ka viņai ir jāaudzina bērni un jādara savs darbs. Bet tikai pirms 25 gadiem tika atklāta pilnīgi cita patiesība, un tagad mums ir iespēja paskatīties uz visu jau no cita skatu punkta.

Pretty much not so long time ago, we used to be thinking that women in the Ottoman Empire period did not had any rights and the only duty was to take care of her children and to take care of her house. Only in last 25 years other truth was exposed to our eyes, and now we are able to see all of these things from the other side.
