Performatīvie aspekti latviešu postdramatiskajā teātrī

Abstract

Maģistra darbs "Performatīvie aspekti latviešu postdramatiskajā teātrī" ir veltīts latviešu mūsdienu teātra mākslinieciskās prakses izpētei, kas saistāma ar vācu teātra zinātnieka Hansa Tīsa Lēmana formulēto postdramatiskā teātra teoriju, kuru ietekmējis Rietumu teātrī 20. gadsimta 60. gados notikušais performatīvais pavērsiens. Darbā performatīvās mākslas pazīmes un izpausmes veidi apskatīti gan Rietumeiropas modernisma avangarda kustību kontekstā, gan kā Rietumu teātra 60./70. gadu eksperimentālo teātra kustību sastāvdaļa, gan kā Padomju Latvijas alternatīvās mākslas izpausmes veids, gan 21. gadsimta mediju sabiedrības ietekmē. Jaunākajā latviešu postdramatiskajā teātrī sastopamās performatīvās izpausmes analizētas, pētot teksta decentralizācijas tendences, izrādes vēstījuma organizācijas principus, telpas un laika funkcijas, aktiera ķermeņa fiziskuma izpausmes veidus, teātra pašrefleksijas tendenci, attiecības starp skatītājiem un izrādes izpildītājiem, kā arī starp aktieri un lomu.

The master thesis "Performative Aspects in Latvian Postdramatic Theatre" is a research of the artistic tendencies of contemporary Latvian theatre in context of the theory of postdramatic theatre which was defined by Hans-Thies Lehmann. The signs and aspects of the performative art are analyzed not only in the context of the modernism avant-garde movement in Western Europe and the experimental forms of 1960s and 1970s Western theatre, but also as a part of the artistic practice in Soviet Latvia and in the influence of the 21st century media society. The performative aspects of contemporary Latvian postdramatic theatre are researched by examining the tendency of text decentralization, the principles of organizing the postdramatic message of performances, the functions of space and time, the physicality of actor’s body, theatre self-reflexitivity, the correlations not only between performers and spectators but also between the performer and the role he’s playing.
