Pirmie vācu dziesmu svētki Rīgā 1861. g. (valodas aspekti)

Abstract

Darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmajā – kultūrvēstures daļā atspoguļoti svarīgākie notikumi Rīgā un visā Latvijā 18. un 19. gadsimtā (laikā līdz 1. Vispārējiem Dziesmu svētkiem). Šajā daļā ietverts arī dažādu biedrību, pārsvarā vācu, darbības atspoguļojums, tautas atmoda un jaunlatviešu kustība, latviešu avīžniecības pirmsākumi, Vērmanes dārza tapšanas vēsture un tā apbūve, kā arī izcilā komponista, pedagoga un folklorista Jāņa Cimzes pedagoģiskais devums – Vidzemes skolotāju semināra dibināšana un vadīšana. Darba otrajā, valodnieciskās analīzes, daļā apskatītas tā laika avīžu publikācijas un Dziesmu svētku repertuāra analīze. Pielikumā iekļauti tā laika avīžu raksti par Dziesmu svētkiem latviešu un vācu valodās, dziesmu teksti, vecās un jaunās drukas paraugi un tā laika Vērmanes dārza attēli.

The diploma paper consists of two parts. The first one relating the history of civilisation reflects the most important events in Riga and whole Latvia in the 18th and 19th centuries (till the 1st Song Festival). The action of different societies (mostly German), the awakening movement of Latvian nation and Neo-Latvians, the dawn of Latvian journalism, the history of formation the park of Vermanis, as well as the pedagogical contribution – the foundation of Vidzemes teacher seminar of the outstanding teacher and folklorist Janis Cimze are included in this part of the paper. The second part – linguistic analysis, depicts the newspaper articles of those times and the analysis of the repertory of the Song Festival. The newspaper articles about the Song Festival in Latvian and German, the songs’ texts, the examples of the old and new times scrap and the pictures of Vermanu park in the 19th century are introduced in addition.
