Latvijas tulkotāju un tulku profesionālās darbības 2011.-2012.g.pētījums

Abstract

Tulkošanas joma Latvijā nav pietiekoši labi izpētīta, un netika veikti pētījumi, kas palīdzētu saprast tirgus situāciju un attīstības tendences tulkošanas jomā. Latvijas tulku un tulkotāju profesionālās darbības pētījuma mērķi ir iegūt vispārēju informāciju par tulkiem un tulkotājiem, pētīt dažādus viņa profesionālās darbības aspektus. Aptauja tika veikta 2011.-2012. gadā. Pētījuma mērķauditorija bija Latvijā dzīvojošie tulki un tulkotāji, kā arī latviešu tulki un tulkotāji, kas dzīvo ārzemēs. Tika saņemtas 123 anketas, pētījumam tika izmantotas 120 anketas. Pētījuma rezultātā tika apkopoti demogrāfiskos datus; iegūti un analizēti dati par moderno tehnoloģiju izmantošanu tulkošanas jomā; tulku un tulkotāju sadarbību ar pasūtītājiem, kā arī informācija par tulku/tulkotāju darba vidi, darba režīmu un apmierinātību ar darbu. The sector of translation has not been studied well enough in Latvia, and no researches have been carried out that could allow to understand the market situation and development trends in the sector of translation. The aims of research of Latvian translators and interpreters’ professional activities are to get general information about translators and interpreters and to study various aspects of their professional activities. The research was carried out in 2011-2012. The target audience of the research were translators and interpreters residing in Latvia and Latvian translators and interpreters residing abroad. 123 filled questionnaires were received, 120 questionnaires were used in this research. As a result of this research demographic data were summarised; data about use of modern technologies in the sector of translation, translators and interpreters’ cooperation with clients, and information about translators and interpreters’ occupational environment, work regime and work satisfaction were obtained and analysed.
