Semantiskie lauki K.Išiguro darbā "Neļauj man aiziet"

Abstract

Lai gan semantiskie lauki ir tikai viens no lingvistikas aspektiem, tam ir liela nozīme un iespaids literāro darbos. Tas ir iemesls, kādēļ darba autore ir analizējusi semantisko lauku nozīmi Kazuo Išiguro romānā „Neļauj man aiziet”. Tādējādi tika izvirzīts darba mērķis izpētīt saikni starp grāmatā attēlotajiem semantiskajiem laukiem un radīto atmosfēru romānā. Lai mērķis tiktu sasniegts, autore ir analizējusi teorētisko literatūru par šo tēmu, turklāt teorija tika pastiprināta un apvienota ar praktisko semantisko lauku izpēti K. Išiguro darbā „Neļauj man aiziet”. Iegūtie rezultāti ataino, ka daži semantiskie lauki parādās tikai noteiktās romāna nodaļās, turpretim lielākā daļa semantisko lauku dominē visā daiļdarbā, radot ne tikai īpašu un mistisku atmosfēru, bet arī palielinot neziņu un saspīlējumu nodaļās. Grafiki, tabulas un diagrammas palīdz skaidrāk un uzskatamāk izprast darbā pausto informāciju.

Although semantic fields is only one aspect in linguistics, it has a great importance and impact on writing. This is the reason why the author of the present paper has analysed the role of the semantic fields in Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel “Never Let Me Go”. Therefore, the goal of the paper to investigate the correlation between the semantic fields in the book and the atmosphere created was put forward. To achieve the goal, the author has analysed specialised theoretical literature on the topic, furthermore the theory was strengthened and joined by the practical analysis of the semantic fields present in Kazuo Ishiguro’s “Never Let Me Go”. The gained results show that some of the semantic fields appear in one particular chapter or part of the book while most of the semantic fields dominate throughout the entire novel, creating not only a specific and mystical atmosphere in the book, but also increasing suspense and tension among the chapters. The tables, charts and diagrams added to the paper help to perceive the information more clearly and demonstrative.
