Lasīšanas prasmju attīstība teksta izpratnei

Abstract

Dotais bakalaura darbs „Lasīšanas prasmju attīstība teksta izpratnei” ir veltīts lasīšanas prasmju apmācības stratēģijām teksta izpratnei, ko izmanto vidusskolā. Pētījuma hipotēze tika formulēta sekojoši: vidusskolas skolēnu apmācīšana par teksta izpratnes stratēģijām palielina lasīšanas prasmju attīstības efektivitāti. Pētījuma metodes iekļauj teorētiskās informācijas par pētījuma tēmu salīdzinošu analīzi, , angļu valodas stundas novērojums, intervija ar skolotāju, skolēnu aptauja, kas ļauj novērtēt skolēnu pielietoto teksta izpratnes stratēģiju attīstību. Secināts, ka pastāv daudz dažādas stratēģijas lasīšanas prasmju uzlabošanai un daudzas no tām, ieskaitot informācijas tehnoloģiju izmantošanu, ir jāmāca skolēniem jo tie atvieglina teksta izpratni. Turklāt angļu valodas apgūšanā skolēnus un skolotājus ir jāmotivē izmantot informācijas tehnoloģijas gan stundu laikā, gan mājās, tas vienkāršo apmācības procesu, padarot to interesantāku un iesaistošāku.

The following thesis “Reading Skills Development for Text Comprehension” is dedicated to the study of strategies for teaching reading skills for text comprehension at secondary school. The hypothesis of the research has been formulated as follows: teaching text comprehension strategies to secondary school students increases the efficacy of reading skills development. The research methods include the comparative analysis of the theoretical information on the theme of the research, the observation of an English lesson, an interview with the teacher and a questionnaire based survey evaluating the student’s text comprehension strategies development. It was concluded that there are many different strategies for improving reading skills and many of these strategies, including the use of information technologies should be taught to the students, which would facilitate text comprehension. More than that, students and teachers should be encouraged to use the information technologies both in the classroom and at home for ELT, which would facilitate the teaching/learning process, making it more interesting and engaging.
