Kansai dialekts Japānas populārajā kultūrā – anime un manga.

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Kansai dialekts Japānas populārajā kultūrā - anime un manga” ir veltīts Kansai dialekta lomas izpētei šajos populārās kultūras medijos. Pētījums atspoguļo stereotipus, kas mūsdienu japāņu sabiedrībā saistās ar Kansai dialektu un tā tipisku runātāju. Tiek apskatīti anime un mangas personāži kā šo stereotipu nesēji. Darbs sastāv no četrām daļām. Pirmā daļa sniedz teorētisko bāzi, kas ir nepieciešama, lai izprastu stereotipu par Kansai dialektu rašanās vēsturiskos un sociālos priekšnosacījumus. Otrā daļa iepazīstina ar šo dialektu salīdzinot to ar standarta japāņu valodu. Trešā daļa apskata kā dialekts tiek izmantots anime. Bet ceturtā daļa ir veltīta Kansai dialektam mangā. Citāti no anime un mangām veido svarīgu šī darba daļu raksturojot valodas lietojumu. Ar piemēriem tiek salīdzināti dažādi Kansai dialektā runājoši personāži un tas, kādas stereotipiskas īpašības tiem piemīt.

Bachelor’s paper „Kansai Dialect in Japanese Popular Culture - Anime and Manga” is devoted to the analysis of the role which the Kansai dialect plays in anime and manga. This paper reflects stereotypes that are held by the modern Japanese society about Kansai dialect and its typical speaker. Characters in manga and anime are regarded as the manifestations of these stereotypes. The thesis is divided into four parts. First part provides the necessary theoretical basis for understanding the historical and social prerequisites for the origins of the stereotypes. Second part presents Kansai dialect in comparison to the standard Japanese language. Third part discusses how dialect is used in anime. And fourth part is devoted to Kansai dialect in manga. Extracts from anime and manga form an important part of this paper describing the language use. A variety of characters that speak in this dialect are compared by looking at the stereotypical properties they possess.
