Nelineāra stāstījuma tehnika Dž.Vintersones romānā "Lighthouskeeping"

Abstract

Diplomdarbā ir analizēta nelineāra stāstījuma tehnika Dž.Vintersones romānā "Lighthousekeeping". Diplomdarba teorētiskajā daļā ir aplūkots stāstījuma jēdziens un tā veidi, beletriska romāna elementi, kā arī postmoderna beletriska romāna iezīmes, piem. nelineārs stāstījums, literārie paņēmieni tā iegūšanai, literārā laika izteiksmes un cilvēka mentālo procesu iezīmes. Diplomdarba praktiskajā daļā ir veikta praktiska tekstuālā analīze Dž.Vintersones romānam "Lighthousekeeping", pētot nelinearitātes elementus un laika aspektus, kā arī tēlu (t.sk. viņu mentālo procesu) ieguldījumu stāstījuma izveidē un īpaši to ietekmi uz nelinearitāti. Analizējot romānu, dimplomdarba autore mēģina noskaidrot, vai nelineāra stāstījuma tehnika ir beletriska stāstījuma konstruēšanas paņēmiens, kas stāstījumā iekļauj cilvēka mentālo procesu dinamiku.

The author analyzes the narrative technique of non-linearity in J. Winterson's novel "Lighthousekeeping". The theoretical part deals with the concept of narrative, narrative types, elements of fictional novel, characteristics of a post-modern fictional novel, including the method of non-linear narrative, literary methods for achieving it and defines the literary aspects of time and characteristics of human mental processes. The practical part deals with textual analysis of Winterson's novel, studying the elements of non-linearity, aspects of time and the contribution of characters (including their mental processes) to the effects of narrative technique of non-linearity. The author tries to find out if the technique of non-linear narration is a way of constructing a narrative, which would embrace the dynamics of human mental processes within a fictional narrative.
