Sieviete un sabiedrība 20. gs. L.Muktupāvelas romānā „Mīla. Benjamiņa”

Abstract

Darbā „Sieviete un sabiedrība 20. gs. L. Muktupāvelas romānā „Mīla Benjamiņa” tiek aplūkots sievietes emancipācija 20. gadsimta latviešu sabiedrībā. Lai gūtu plašāku ieskatu feminisma kustības attīstībai Latvijā, teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota feminisma vēsture pasaulē, kā arī sniegts ieskats feminisma sākotnējām tradīcijām latviešu literatūrā un literatūrzinātnē. Savukārt praktiskajā daļā no feminisma teorijas pieredzes tiek interpretēta L. Muktupāvelas romāna „Mīla. Benjamiņa” galvenā varone - viena no ietekmīgākajām 20. gadsimta pirmajām sievietēm latviešu preses vēsturē - Emīlija Benjamiņa. Darba gaitā tiek secināts, ka 20. gadsimta sabiedrībā Benjamiņa bija viena no tām latviešu sievietēm, kura sievietes emancipāciju demonstrēja aktīvā sabiedriskā darbībā.

In Bachelor`s thesis „Woman and Society in the 20th Century in Muktupavela’s Novel „Mīla. Benjamiņa” emancipation of women in the 20th century in Latvian society are explored. In the theoretical part history of feminism in the world are examined to gain more insight into development of feminism`s movement in Latvia. This part also provides and insight into the beginning of feminism`s traditions in latvian literature and literary theory. In the practical part Feminist theory are used to interpret L. Muktupavela’s novel „Love. Benjamin”. Protagonist of novel - Emilia Benjamin is one of the most powerful Latvian woman in the history of the press in the 20th century. During the research it is concluded that in the 20th century society, Benjamin was one of the first Latvian women, who demonstrated emancipation of women in social activities.
