This Bachelor’s paper is dedicated to the analysis of philosophy and etiquette of Japanese martial art called Aikido, which prescribe the right ways of learning it. In order to understand how the philosophy and the etiquette of Aikido arose and why they are extremely important for those who are learning aikido, its origins and developing history will be examined in this study as well. Among other principles, the conception of „Ki” energy, which is not only the part of Aikido phylosophy, but similarly the part of many other asian martial arts and some religions, will be also explored.
