Tradicionālā un modernā konflikts Džuničiro Taņidzaki romānā „Makioka māsas”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Tradicionālā un modernā konflikts Džuničiro Taņidzaki romānā „Makiokas māsas””. Tā mērķis ir, analizējot Dž. Taņidzaki romānu, noskaidrot kā romānā tiek atspoguļotas 20. gadsimta 30. un 40. gadu pārmaiņas Japānas sabiedrībā. Romāna darbība norisinās no 1936. gada līdz 1941. gadam, un tajā Japānas sabiedrībā notiekošās pārmaiņas skatītas caur Makioka ģimenes prizmu. Bakalaura darbā apskatīti tie pārmaiņu procesi, kas skaidri parādās romānā, piemēram, tradicionālā ģimene, kāzu tradīcijas, kā arī sieviešu lomas maiņa sabiedrībā tām aktīvāk iesaistoties darba tirgū. Bakalaura darbu veido 4 daļas, no kurām pirmā veltīta romāna laikmeta raksturojumam, kas iezīmē būtiskas pārmaiņas Japānas tradicionālajā sabiedrībā. Darba otrajā daļā aplūkota tradicionālā japāņu ģimene, kuras struktūra un tradīcijas veidojušās gadsimtu gaitā. Darba trešajā daļā aprakstīta sievietes loma 20. gadsimta 30. un 40.gadu Japānā. Pretstatā tradicionālajai sievietes – mājsaimnieces lomai, arvien pieaug sieviešu iesaistīšanās darba tirgū, mainās viņu loma, pienākumi un intereses. Darba ceturtā daļa veltīta romānā atspoguļoto kāzu tradīciju un rituālu aplūkošanai, kas tradicionālā izpratnē ir visas ģimenes rūpes un atbildība. Tā kā 20. gadsimta sākums ir notikumiem bagāts laiks kā Japānas tā pasaules sabiedrībā, tas maina cilvēku dzīvesveidu un ieradumus. Dž. Taņidzaki romānā „Makiokas māsas” izdodas prasmīgi raksturot sabiedrībā notiekošās pārmaiņas un to atstātās sekas. Rakstnieka dzīves pieredze un lieliskās zināšanas par Japānas kultūru ļauj viņam veiksmīgi uztvert Japānas un Rietumu kultūru atšķirības. Kopējais darba apjoms 46 lapas.

The title of the bachelor thesis ir “The Conflict of Traditional and Modern in Jun’ichiro Tanizaki Novel „Makioka Sisters””. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the novel of J. Tanizaki, to ascertain how the changes in the Japanese society in 30’s and 40’s of the 20th century are depicted in the novel. The novel takes place during 1936 and 1941 and the changes in the society are viewed through the prism of the Makioka family. This bachelor thesis focuses on the society processes that are clearly shown in the novel, for example, the traditional family, marriage traditions, as well as the change in the role of women in the society, as they are more actively involved in the employment. The thesis consists of 4 parts, the first of which is dedicated to the characteristics of the era that brings significant changes in the traditional Japanese society. The second part shows the traditional Japanese family, whose structure and traditions are created during the centuries. The third part describes the role of Japanese women in 30’s and 40’s of the 20 th century. On the contrast to the traditional role of women as housewives, more and more women are involved in the labor force and their role, duties and interests are changing. The forth part is dedicated to the marriage traditions, described in the novel that from a traditional point of view is a matter and responsibility of the family. As the beginning of the 20th century is a dynamic time in the society of Japan and world, it changes the lifestyle and habits. J. Tanizaki in the novel “Makioka Sisters” in a skilful way describes the changes occurring in the society and their consequences. The life experience and the excellent knowledge of Japanese culture that the writer has, gives him an opportunity to detect the differences between the Japanese and Western cultures. The thesis consists of 46 pages.
