Trimdas motīvs Ainas Zemdegas romānos „Maruta” un „Līdz vārtiem – un tālāk?”

Abstract

Darbā Trimdas motīvs Ainas Zemdegas romānos „Maruta” un „Līdz vārtiem – un tālāk?” tiek pētīta trimdas nozīme latviešu tautas vēsturē un trimdas motīva reprezentācija latviešu literatūrā. Zemdegas romānu analīzē tiek skatīta viņas biogrāfiskā pieredze, postkoloniālisma un laiktelpas teorētiskie principi. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt trimdas motīva izpausmes veidus Ainas Zemdegas romānos. Darba uzdevumi ir izpētīt literatūras avotus, atlasīt materiālus par trimdas literatūru un trimdas autoru dzīvi, izpētīt postkoloniālisma teorētiskos konceptus, vēsturiski biogrāfiskās pētniecības metodes pamatnostādnes un laiktelpas principus, interpretēt romānus atbilstoši pētītajam vēsturiskajam un teorētiskajam aspektam. Darbā tiek secināts, ka trimdas motīvs Zemdegas romānos atklājas dažādos veidos – biogrāfiskā, postkoloniālā un laiktelpas aspektā. The bachelor thesis The Motive of Exile in the Novels” Maruta” and ”Līdz vārtiem – un tālāk?” by Aina Zemdega explores the significance and representation of exile in the Latvian history and literature. The analysis of Zemdega’s novels consists of her biographical experience, the principles of the post-colonial and time-space theories. The aim of this paper is to explore the motive of the exile in the novels written by Aina Zemdega. Assignments needed for the thesis include a research of the sources, careful selection of materials about exile in general and the author’s personal experience. Moreover, the task consists of exploration of the concepts of post-colonial criticism and guidelines of historical-biographical research methods, and the principles of the time-space. This is done together with a proper interpretation of the historical and theoretical aspects studied prior. The author concludes that the motive of exile in the novels by Aina Zemdega can be found in multiple forms: biographical, post-colonial and time-space aspects.
