Izolēti izrunātu latviešu valodas divskaņu akustisks raksturojums

Abstract

Lai novērotu divskaņu trajektoriju un dinamiku, kā arī salīdzinātu divskaņu sākuma un beigu komponentu akustisko kvalitāti ar atbilstošo patskaņu akustisko kvalitāti un iepriekš pētītajām teikumos izrunātu divskaņu akustiskajām īpašībām, darbā tika analizēti izolēti izrunāti latviešu valodas divskaņi piecu informantu izrunas materiālos. Tika veikts arī divskaņu uztveres eksperiments, aptaujājot respondentus par skaņām, ko viņi dzird, kad divskanis tiek atskaņots pa komponentiem, un pārbaudot, vai respondenti divskaņus komponentos dala un vai spēj divskanī noteikt robežu starp tā komponentiem. Pētījuma gaitā tika secināts, ka divskanis nav divu patskaņu savienojums, bet gan kompleksa skaņa, ko komponentos var dalīt vien nosacīti. A research study was done to investigate the trajectory and dynamics of diphthongs in Latvian, pronounced in zero context, and to compare the acoustic quality of the components of diphthongs to the acoustic quality of the corresponding monophthongs, and also to the components of diphthongs pronounced in real sentences. Also, a perception research was done to find out if the native speakers of Latvian language normally split diphthongs into components, and if they can recognize the components of diphthongs played as individual sounds, and draw the distinction between the components of diphthongs. It was decided that a diphthong is not a junction of two monophthongs in one syllable, it is more likely an undivisible sound with a constant change of quality.
