| dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darbs „Tiešsaistes resursu izmantošana angļu – latviešu un latviešu – angļu valodas tulkošanas praksē" sniedz minēto resursu apkopojumu un aprakstu.
Darbs sastāv no ievada, 3 daļām un secinājumiem.
Pirmajā daļā noskaidrots, kādas ir kvalitatīva un profesionāla tulkošanas darba veikšanai nepieciešamās kompetences.
Otrajā daļā aplūkots, kāda ir moderno tehnoloģiju loma tulkotāju un tulku profesionālajā izaugsmē, un kā dažādi tiešsaistes resursi var palīdzēt risināt tulkošanas darba uzdevumus.
Trešajā daļā sniegts autores apzināto tiešsaistes resursu apkopojums, izveidota to klasifikācija, uzskaitīti galvenie resursi katrā klasifikācijas grupā un dots īss katra resursa apraksts.
Darba beigās apkopoti secinājumi par pašreiz pieejamajiem tiešsaistes avotiem darba tēmas kontekstā un sniegti ierosinājumi turpmākiem pētījumiem un pētījuma datu izmantošanai.
Darbā iekļauti 38 attēli un izmantotās literatūras un avotu saraksts (58 nosaukumi).

| dc.description.abstract | Master's thesis "Use of online resources in English to Latvian and Latvian to English translation practice" provides a summary and description of mentioned resources.
The work consists of an introduction, three parts and conclusions.
The first part describes expertise needed for quality work of the translator.
The second part looks at what is the role of modern technology in professional development of translators and how various online resources can help with translation tasks.
The third section describes online resources discovered and classified by the author; each classification group contains a list of key resources in that group.
At the end of the work there are conclusions regarding currently available online resources in the context of the theme. Suggestions are made for further research and use study data.
The paper contains 38 images and list of references and sources (58 titles).
