Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Tradīcija un progress Čarlza Dikensa prozā”. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt Č. Dikensa darbus: „Olivers Tvists” , „Ziemassvētku dziesma prozā”, „ Grūti laiki „, „Lielās cerības” un analizēt tradīciju un progresa esamību šajos darbos. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no ievada, analītiskās daļas un nobeiguma. Bakalaura darbam ir 5 nodaļas. Pirmā nodaļā tiek sniegta autora biogrāfija un informācija par viņa darbiem, ka arī tiek aplūkota tradīciju un progresa būtība, tiek sniegtas definīcijas. Otrā nodaļā tiek aplūkotās ziemassvētku tradīcijas. Trešā nodaļā tiek aplūkotas un analizētas ģimenes tradīcijas. Ceturtā nodaļā tiek analizētā novele „Olivers Tvists”. The theme of the Bachelor thesis is:” Tradition and Progress in Ch. Dickens’s Fiction” The goal of the work is to analyze the traditions and progress in Charles Dickens fiction: Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Hard Times, Great Expectations. The Bachelor thesis consists of introduction, five chapters and conclusions. Chapter I presents essential information about the author and his novels as well as provides definitions of progress and tradition. Chapter II focuses on Christmas traditions in Christmas Carol. Chapter III examines Family traditions. Chapter IV considers the traditional lifestyle and traditional characters in Oliver Twist. Chapter V focuses on the progress in Hard Times.
