Grupu tulkošanas perspektīvas Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Grupu tulkošanas perspektīvas Latvijā” apskata līdz šim maz pētītu tēmu – tulku darbu jaunatnes jomā un grupu tulkošanas metodi Vācijā un Francijā, kuru nepieciešams attīstīt arī Latvijā. Diplomdarba mērķis ir pētījums par grupu tulkošanas perspektīvām Latvijā. Tā galvenais objekts ir tulku iesaiste jaunatnes jomā un jaunatnes darbinieku zināšanas par mutisko tulkošanu. Pētījums sniedz pārskatu par tulku iesaisti jaunatnes darbā un iespējamo nākotnes attīstību šajā jomā. Maģistra darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām. Darba pirmā nodaļa sniedz ieskatu svarīgākajos aspektos attiecībā uz tulka lomu starpkultūru komunikācijas veicināšanā. Otrajā nodaļā ir sniegti izpētes rezultāti par Vācijas-Francijas Jaunatnes sadarbības organizācijas dibināšanas vēsturi, aktivitātēm un grupu tulkošanas metodi. Tiek rūpīgi iztirzātas daudzveidīgās grupu tulku apmācības, to sadaļas un mērķauditorija, kas darba beigu daļā tiek salīdzinātas ar Latvijas iespējām un interesēm šajā jomā. Trešā nodaļa ievada maģistra darba empīriskā pētījuma rezultātus. Šajā nodaļā tiek atspoguļota analīze par jaunatnes jomu Latvijā, kas baltās uz zinātniskiem pētījumiem, statistikas datiem un iedzīvotāju aptaujām. Darbā kā galvenā metode tika izmantota naratīvās intervijas metode, kas daudzos metodiskajos pētījumos tiek atzīta kā kvalitatīva pētījumu metode. Pētījuma ietvaros tika veiktas naratīvās intervijas ar jaunatnes nozares ekspertiem. Interviju transkripcijas ir pieejamas maģistra darba pielikumā. Visbeidzot noslēdzošajā nodaļā tiek atspoguļoti iztrādātie priekšlikumi grupu tulkošanas pieprasījuma veicināšanai un attīstībai Latvijā. Šī nodaļa balstās uz interviju secinājumiem un autores personīgajiem novērojumiem, kas tika veikti, darbojoties par tulci jaunatnes starptautiskajos pasākumos Latvijā. Tiek piedāvāti vairāki apmācību varianti atbilstoši dažādām mērķgrupām, kas varētu kļūt par potenciālajiem grupu tulkiem Latvijā. Kā papildus rezultāts jāmin autores izstrādātais mācību programmas papildkurss topošajiem tulkiem. Diplomdarbs būs noderīgs materiāls tulkošanas studiju programmas studentiem, jaunatnes darbiniekiem, kā arī citiem interesentiem.

The Master thesis „Perspectives of Group Translation in Latvia”, deals with the interpreter's work in the youth field and group interpreting method in Germany and France and its possible development in Latvia. The aim of the present paper is to carry out research about group interpreting perspectives in Latvia. The main focus is the implementation of interpretation in the field of youth work. The present paper provides an overview of the interpreter's role in youth work and possible future development in this field. This paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter gives an overview of the most important aspects of an interpreter's role in promoting intercultural communication. The second chapter provides the results of the research about Franco-German Youth Office history and group interpretation methods. Different training methods for group interpretation are being carefully studied, as well as their target audience, which is compared with the Latvia context. The third chapter introduces the empirical part of the research. This chapter, which presents an analysis of the youth field in Latvia, is based on scientific research, statistic data and inhabitant surveys. The main method of research in the youth field uses a narrative method. The framework of this paper has used narrative interviews with youth experts. Transcriptions of these interviews are available in the attachment. In the last chapter the author describes the different target audiences and aims, and ways of implementing group translation in Latvia. As an extra outcome the author is proposing additional courses for interpretation students. This master paper will be useful material for interpretation students, youth workers and other interested persons.
