Fabulu krājuma „Kalīla un Dimna” loma arābu agrīnās viduslaiku literatūras attīstībā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ”Fabulu krājuma „Kalīla un Dimna” loma arābu agrīnās viduslaiku literatūras attīstībā”, autors analizēja arābu literatūras attīstību no tās pirmsākumiem līdz Abāsīdu laikmetam un noskaidroja, kā arābu tulkošanas darbības ietekmēja arābu literatūras uzplaukumu 8.gs. Autors uzsvēra, ka fabulu krājums „Kalīla un Dimna” kalpoja par sava veida pagrieziena punktu arābu viduslaiku literatūras attīstības vēsturē, un spēlēja lielu lomu jaunās arābu prozas tradīcijas veidošanās islāma pasaulē. Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām, kas sakārtotas šādā secībā: Vēsturiskā puse literārā kontekstā; Arābu tulkošanas tradīcijas ietekme uz literatūru; Fabulu krājuma „Kalīla un Dimna” izcelsme, attīstība un nozīme. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek sniegts vēsturisks pārskats literārā kontekstā, kas sniedz priekšstatu par arābu literatūras attīstību līdzi Zelta laikmetam un Abāsīdu revolūcijas laikā. Apskatīts tiek agrīnais arābu viduslaiku periods. Otrajā nodaļā tiek noskaidroti pirmsabāsīdu arābu tulkošanas kustību cēloņi un sekas, kas ietekmēja agrīno Abāsīdu imperiālo ideoloģiju, un veicināja jaunās tulkošanas tradīcijas formēšanos islāma impērijā. Trešajā nodaļā tiek veikts pētījums, par fabulu krājuma autora Ibn al-Mukaffa dzīves laiku un notikumiem dažādajās sfērās, kas pamudināja viņu pievērsties fabulu žanram. Beigās tiek pētīta „Kalīla un Dimna” izcelsmes īpatnības un principiālās atšķirības starp oriģinālu fabulu avotu - indiešu „Panchatantra”. Analizējot savāktos materiālus un faktus, par fabulu krājuma „Kalīla un Dimna” radīšanas priekšnosacījumiem un rezultātiem, autors izdarījis secinājumus, kas pierāda krājuma „Kalīla un Dimna” nozīmīgo lomu arābu viduslaiku literatūras attīstībā, kā senu Austrumu gudrības dārgumu.

In this bachelor paper „The role of the animal fables „Kalīla and Dimna” in the development of an early Arabic medieval literature ”, author analysed the development of an Arabic literature from its beginnings to the Abbasid period, and showed the way how the Arabic transaliton activities has affected the full flowering of the Arabic literature in the 8th century. The author emphasized that the fable collection „Kalīla and Dimna” has served as the kind of turning point in the history of Arab literature, and has played a major role in the forming of a new prose narrative tradittion in the Islamic world. This paper is composed of fhree parts and they are arranged in the following succession: the historical part in the literary context; the impact of the Arabic translation movement on literature; the animal fables “Kalīla and Dimna and its origin, development and role”. The first part of this paper provides the historical overview in the literary context, in order to give a description of the development of Arabic literature to the Golden age, including the Abbasids Revolution. In the second paper there are clarified the causes and consequences of an early Abbasid translation movement, which affected the early Abbasid imperial ideology, and encouraged the formation of the new translation tradition in the Islamic empire. In the third part of this paper the research has been made on the topic of the lifetime and events in various areas of the animal fable author Ibn al-Muqaffa, which prompted him to focus on the fable genre. Than there are studied the peculiarities of the origin of the “Kalīla and Dimna” fables, and the principal differences between the original source of the fable – an Indian “Panchatantra”. By analyzing gathered materials and facts about the preconditions and results of creation of the animal fables “Kalīla and Dimna”, author has made conclusions, which demonstrates the significant role of the fable collection “Kalīla and Dimna” in the development of an early Arabic medieval literature, as the treasure of ancient wisdom of the East.
