Varas dimensija Homēra eposā „Īliadā”

Abstract

Šī pētījuma galvenais mērķis bija atrast un izprast varas dimensiju Homēra Iliādā. Varoņu vara eposā tiek sadalīta uz trīm līmeņiem - augstāko, reālo un garīgo varu.Tā kā varoņeposam piemīt varoņu iedeāla un varoņu raksturu daudzveidība, tika atrasti daudzi piemēri, kas parādīja kādam ir jābūt varonim un kas viņam trūks lai kļūtu par ideālu. Lai pētījuma mērķis tiktu veiksmīgi sasniegts, tika izvirzīti vairāki uzdevumi – iegūt informāciju par Homēra laikmetu un eopsā Iliāda tēloto sabiedrību no zinātniskās un uzziņu literatūras, strādāt ar tekstu oriģinālā un tulkojumā, kā arī noteikt, kuri fragmenti vislabāk parāda kādas varas nesēja galvenās rakstura iezīmes, kā arī apkopot un sistematizēt epitetus un salīdzinājumus, kuri ļautu spriest par varoņa varu un vietu eposā. Pētījums sniedza daudzpusīgu un padziļinātu ieskatu par sengrieķu eposa varoņu ideālu, episko sabiedrību un varas institūcijām tajā. Pētījumā izvirzītie mērķi tika sasniegti un veiksmīgi realizēti.

This main aim was to investigate and understand the dimension of powerin Homer's Iliad. The power of Heroes is distributed over threelevels - the highest, real and spiritual power. Since the genre ofheroic epic poetry implies the diversity of characteristics of theepic heroes, numerous facts were found to support the image of theepic hero and the characteristics that he lacks to become truly ideal.In order the aim of the study to be successfully achieved, a number ofgoals were set. Firstly, acquire information on the era of Homer's Iliad and the community depicted in the work by using scientific andreference literature. Secondly, to work with the original text andtranslation, as well as to determine which passages are the bestindicator of the main character traits of the power holders. Lastly,to collect and systematize epithets and comparīsons which allow tomake conclusions about the powers of the heroes and their place in thework. The study provided a comprehensive and an in-depth insight intothe ancient Greek epic heroes' ideāls, epic societyand the powerholders there. The study objectives were achieved and successfully implemented.
