Lingvistiskās un pragmatiskās kompetences attīstīšana ēdināšanas pakalpojumu sniedzējiem

Abstract

Maģistra darbā tiek pētīta lingvistiskās un pragmatiskās kompetences attīstība itāļu valodā ēdināšanas pakalpojumu sniedzējiem, kas vērtēta, pamatojoties uz daļēji strukturētas lomu spēles un mutiskā diskursa papildināšanas uzdevuma rezultātiem. Pētījums tika veikts, aplūkojot svarīgākās valodas funkcijas un ilokūcijas aktus viesmīļu un klientu saziņā. Pētījuma metode ir mērķgrupas gadījuma izpēte. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda, ka iesācēji bez vai ar minimālām priekšzināšanām itāļu valodā var veiksmīgi pilnveidot savu lingvistisko un pragmatisko kompetenci, ja apmācības ir balstītas uz mērķgrupas funkcionālajām vajadzībām un valodas lietojumu konkrētu situāciju kontekstā. The present paper explores the development of linguo-pragmatic competence in the Italian language applied to the field of catering service, assessed in a semi-guided role-play and an oral discourse completion task. The research is conducted considering the main language functions and illocutionary speech acts performed in client-waiter interaction. The research method applied is an exploratory case study where the target group of language learners constitutes a single case. The results show that the beginner level learners of the Italian language can develop their linguo-pragmatic competence to a great extent, provided that the linguistic input is based on the functional needs of the target group of learners and it is presented in its situational context.
