Ritma izjūtas loma angļu valodas apguvēju runas plūduma attīstīšanai

Abstract

Rakstot šo bakalaura darbu, tika veikts valodnieku darbu pārskats fonoloģijā angļu valodā (it īpaši attiecībā uz runas plūdumu un ritmu un angļu val. mācīšanā. Pētījuma mērķis bija atklāt, kāda loma ir ritma izpratnei, attīstot skolēnu runas plūdumu, runājot angļu valodā. Pētījuma izmantotas gan teorētiskās, gan praktiskās metodes. Autors iepazinies ar teorētisko literatūru par pētāmo problēmu. Kā praktiskā metode ir izmantots gadījuma pētījums, kura, ietvaros ir izstrādāts un aprobēts aktivitāšu kopums pamatskolas vecuma jauniešu ritma izjūtas un runas plūduma attīstīšanai angļu valodā. Ar kvantitatīvās analīzes palīdzību ir noteikts apmācamo progress. Galvenais pētījuma secinājums ir, ka darbības, kuru mērķis ir uzlabot ritmu, ietekmē vispārējo plūdumu EFL studentiem.

For writing this bachelor paper review of linguists’ works on Phonology of the English language (in particular on Fluency and Rhythm) and Teaching English was made. The purpose of the research was to discover what role rhythm awareness plays in developing learners' fluency of speech in English. Methods of research were theoretical and practical. The theory available on the problem of the research was read and analyzed. A case study during which a set of activities designed to raise the young learners’ rhythm awareness and improve their fluency of speech in English implemented and the learners’ progress investigated. To analyses the obtained data quantitative analysis was made and relevant conclusions have been drawn. The main conclusion of the research is that activities aimed at improving rhythm influence overall fluency of EFL learners.
