Abstract

Bakalaura darbs veltīts Min dinastijas flotes admirāļa Džena He jūras braucieniem kā Min dinastijas ietekmes paplašināšanās līdzeklim. Džens He bija Min dinastijas flotes admirālis, pētnieks un diplomāts. XV gadsimta pirmā pusē, no 1405. līdz 1433. gadam viņš veica septiņus jūras braucienus Klusajā okeānā rietumu daļā un Indijas okeānā, apmeklējot vairāk nekā 30 valstis Indoķīnā, Indostānā, Arābijas pussalā un Austrumāfrikā. Darba mērķis ir akcentēt Džena He nozīmīgumu Min dinastijas ārpolitikai, parādīt, ka Džena He jūras braucieni bija Min dinastijas iespēja nodibināt savu ekonomisku un politisku hegemoniju Āzijas valstīs pirms eiropiešu parādīšanās reģionā. Pētījuma metodes ir galvenokārt vēsturiskās un salīdzinošās – vēsturisko avotu un mūsdienīgo pētījumu analizēšana, salīdzināšana un raksturošana. Darbs ir iedalīts trīs daļās. Pirmajā daļā tiks apskatīta vēsturiskā situācija Ķīnā pirms Džena He ceļojumiem. Otrajā daļā tiks apskatītas Džena He jūras braucieni, Min dinastija tajā laikā. Treša daļa ir veltīta situācijai Min valstī pēc Džena He jūras braucieniem, attieksmei pret Dženu He un viņa jūras braucienu ietekme mūsdienās.

The Bachelor paper is devoted to the Ming Dynasty’s admiral of the fleet Zheng He’s voyages as a tool of expansion of the Ming Dynasty. Zheng He was the Ming Dynasty’s admiral of the fleet, explorer and diplomat. In the second half of the 15th century from 1405 to 1433 he made seven voyages to the west part of the Pacific Ocean and to the Indian Ocean, visited more than 30 countries in Indochina, Hindustan, the Arabian Peninsula and Eastern Africa. The aim of this work is to emphasize the importance of Zheng He for the foreign policy of the Ming Dynasty, to show that Zheng He’s voyages were a chance for the Ming Dynasty to establish its own economic and political hegemony in Asian countries before the appearance of the Europeans in the region. Research methods are mainly historical and comparative – analysis, comparison and characterization of historical sources and modern research. The paper is set out in three parts. In the first part historical situation in China before Zheng He’s voyages will be reviewed. In the second part will be reviewed Zheng He’s voyages, the Ming Dynasty at that time. Part three deals with situation in the Ming Dynasty after the voyages of Zheng He, Zheng He’s popularity and consequences of his voyages in modern world.
