| dc.description.abstract | Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir veikt salīdzinošo analīzi lai noskaidrotu kā tiek risinātas ar fantāzijas žanra saistītās tulkošanas problēmas. Līdz ar literāri izteiksmīgo tekstu tulkošanu parādās daudz dažādas tulkošanas problēmas, bet šajā pētījumā tika izvirzītas trīs nozīmīgākās problēmas, kas tika apskatītas – īpašvārdu un autora izdomāto jēdzienu tulkošana, mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļu tulkošana un mākslinieciskās valodas tulkošana.
Šajā pētījumā tika apskatīts Dž. R. R. Tolkīna darbs ”Gredzenu Pavēlnieks” un K. Paolīnī darbs ”Eragons”
Galvenā pētījuma metode, kas tika pielietota darbā bija korpusa analīze.
Darba hipotēze tika pierādīta daļēji – īpašvārdu un mākslinieciskās valodas tulkošana ir uzskatāma par ievērojamu problēmu.

| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the bachelor paper was to conduct comparative analysis how the challenges of translating fantasy has been dealt with. Since there are numerous challenges in translating expressive texts, three main problems were singled out: Translation of proper noun and generic terms, treatment of stylistic devices and treatment of Fictional language.
In this paper “Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R. Tolkien and “Eragon” by C.Paolini were looked upon.
Main research method employed was the corpus analysis.
Hypothesis was partially proved as Proper nouns and treatment of fictional language proved to be significant challenge.
