Padomju režīma ietekme uz iedzīvotāju etnisko struktūru Latvijā un Lietuvā

Abstract

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir „Padomju režīma ietekme uz iedzīvotāju etnisko struktūru Latvijā un Lietuvā”. Tādējādi, galvenais darba mērķis ir izpētīt Padomju režīma ietekmi uz iedzīvotāju etnisko struktūru Latvijā un Lietuvā, kā arī noteikt svarīgākas atšķirības starp šīm abām kaimiņvalstīm. Ļoti svarīgu lomu šajā darbā ieņem statistiskie dati, kuri apliecina, ka iedzīvotāju etniska struktūra patiešām stipri izmainījās Padomju režīma laikā. Uz šo datu pamata tiek noteiktas un analizētas atšķirības starp Latvijas un Lietuvas situācijām Padomju etniskās politikas īstenošanai. Tēmas aktualitāti apstiprina tas fakts, ka Padomju režīma laikā notikušas etniskas izmaiņas Latvijā un Lietuvā joprojām ietekmē šo valstu dzīvi dažādos aspektos.

The title of the master paper is “The Influence of the Soviet Regime on the Ethnic Structure of Population in Latvia and Lithuania”. Thus, the main aim of the paper is to investigate the impact of the Soviet Union on the ethnic structure of population in Latvia and Lithuania as well as to identify the most important differences between these two neighboring countries. The statistical data which prove that ethnic structure changed much during the Soviet regime has a very important role in this paper. On the basis of this data the differences between Latvia’s and Lithuania’s situation regarding implementation of the Soviet ethnic policy are identified and analyzed. Actuality of the chosen theme confirms the fact that the changes in the ethnic structure of population happened during the Soviet regime both in Latvia and Lithuania still influence live in those countries in many aspects.
