Metaforu tulkošana krievu valodā V.Šekspīra komēdijās un traģēdijās (uz daiļdarbu „Romeo un Džuljeta” un „Sapnis vasaras naktī” pamata)

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba temāts ir metaforu attēlošana Viljāma Šekspīra traģēdiju un komēdiju tulkojumos krievu valodā. Bakalaura darbu var sadalīt divās daļās. Darba pirmajā daļā tiek izskatīts pieejams teorētiskais materiāls par metaforu, īpašu uzmanību pieveršot tās lomai dzejā un Šekspīra radošajā darbā, kā arī metodes, kas varētu tikt izmantotas metaforu adekvātai tulkošanai mērķvalodā. Darba otrajā daļā tiek pētīta dažādu tulkošanas metožu pielietošana metaforu tulkošanas procesā, kā arī attiecīgas lasītāju emocijas atkarībā no izvēlētas metodes. Analīzei tiek izvēlētas metaforas no daiļdarbiem „Romeo un Džuljeta” un „Sāpnis vasaras naktī”. Lasītāju emocijas tiek izpētītas lai pierādītu, ka dažādu tulkošanas metožu pielietošana var ietekmēt lasītāju reakciju. Pie tam, analīze parāda optimālo tulkošanas metodi lai iegūtu pareizo emocionālo reakciju, attēlojot metaforas komēdijās un traģēdijās.

The theme of the present bachelor paper is rendering metaphors in William Shakespeare’s tragedies and comedies translations into Russian. The paper can be divided into two parts. The first part of the paper reviews the available theoretical material on metaphor, focusing on its role in poetry and Shakespeare’s creative work, as well as techniques that may be used for the adequate translation of metaphors into target language. The second part of the paper explores the use of different translation techniques while rendering metaphors, as well as the readers’ corresponding emotions according to it. For the analysis metaphors from Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream are chosen. The readers’ emotions are considered in order to prove that the use of different translation techniques can affect their response. Moreover, the analysis reveals the optimal translation technique for the achievement of proper emotional response while rendering metaphors in comedies and tragedies.
