Perifērās vizuālās informācijas ietekme uz centrālā uzdevuma izpildi

Abstract

Promocijas darbs “Perifērās vizuālās informācijas ietekme uz centrālā uzdevuma izpildi” sarakstīts latviešu valodā, datorsalikumā uz 102 lapām, satur 3 formulas, 2 tabulas, 35 attēlus un 176 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darbā tika pētīts, kā atšķirīgi vizuālie stimuli perifērijā mijiedarbojas ar pašu centrālo uzdevumu tā pildīšanas laikā un kā tie ietekmē paša centrālā uzdevuma veikšanu. Darbs ietver psihofizikālas metodes un algoritmu izveidošanu, tos pielāgojot mūsu izveidotajam meklēšanas uzdevuma modelim. Tika secināts, ka statisks troksnis tālajā perifērijā palīdz meklēšanu veikt ātrāk, salīdzinot ar uzdevumu uz balta fona tālajā perifērijā, bet kustīgs troksnis tālajā perifērijā meklēšanu paildzina.

Doctoral thesis “Peripheral visual information effect on central task performance”, written in Latvian, consists of 102 printed pages, 3 formulas, 2 tables, 35 figures, and 176 references. This study includes an analysis of the impact of various peripheral visual stimuli upon a central task. This work includes psychophysical methods and algorithms that were adapted for this study. The results of this study reveal that static noise in the far periphery enable the participant to complete the central task more quickly, relative to a white background in the far periphery. In contrast, moving peripheral noise in the far periphery renders the visual search task more difficult to complete.
