Literatūras saraksts sastāv no 35 vienībām. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis„The horror of World War II reflection in Masuji Ibuse’s novel „Black rain”” is to find out how the after nuclear blast horror of Hiroshima’s inhabitants is shown in this novel. To achieve this aim the author studied the conclusions of contemporary researchers about Masuji Ibuse’s novel „Black rain” and also history facts about World War II events in Hiroshima. Dividing the fragments describing horrors into thematical groups, the different effects of nuclear blast and influence to the surrounding enviroment, society and individual persons were researched.
During the process of the work it was researched how author using vivid and naturalistic descriptions made in his own imagination and also from reports of witnesses creates a permanent epistle about one of the most controversial events of World War II which is even more actual in this year because of the seventy year anniversary of the end of World War II and events in Eastern Europe. Based on the historical facts and materials of research the author found that the novel author Masuji Ibuse has precisely described not only the immediate effects of the nuclear blast on Hirosimas inhabitants but also long–term consequences.
Work consists of four parts: „Masuji Ibuse”, „Horror in environment”, „Horror in society” and „Individual horror”. The bachelor thesis is 46 pages long. Bibliographical list consists of 35 units.
