Ceļā uz savu kultūru caur citu tekstiem un attēliem. Pirmie latviešu literārie žurnāli “Pagalms” un “Rota” kā kultūru pārneses un mijiedarbības vietas

Šis darbs ir veltīts pirmajiem latviešu literārajiem ţurnāliem Pagalms (1881-1882) un Rota (1884-1888). Darba ietvaros ir mēģināts izpētīt, kāda loma šiem ţurnāliem bija nacionālās kultūras tapšanā un kādā veidā caur medijiem "teksts" un "attēls" tika paustas šīs 19. gadsimtā izplatītās nacionālās idejas. Maģistra darbā tiek sniegts pārskats par vēsturiskajiem, sociālajiem, kultūras un idejiskajiem priekšnoteikumiem, kas ietekmēja minēto ţurnālu rašanos un attīstības gaitu. Darbā tiek analizēta šo ţurnālu programmās netieši paustā tematiskā saistība ar vācbaltiešu ţurnāliem. Kā pēdējais pētījuma uzdevums ir konkrēto ţurnālu programmātikas atbilstības praksei analīze.
Secinājumos tiek uzsvērts, ka ţurnālu programmās paustā kultūrnācijas ideja konfliktē ar praksē realizēto – pilnīga atsvešināšanās no citu kultūru sasniegumiem savas kultūras radīšanas vārdā nebija iespējama. This work is dedicated to the first Latvian literary Journals Pagalms (1881-1882) and Rota (1884-1888). In the framework of this paper it is investigated what kind of role these journals had in the formation of national culture and how these national ideas of the 19th century were expressed through media ‗text‘ and ‗picture‘. There is an outline of historical, social, cultural and ideological premisses that influenced the establishing and development of mentioned journals given in this master paper. There has been the indirect connection between Latvian and Baltic German journals analysed on the basis of journal programms. The last task of this research is the analysis on conformity between journals‘ programms and practice.
In conclusions it is emphasized that the idea of cultural nation that has been expressed in programms conflicts with the practice – to fully alienate from achievements of other cultures in the name of creating one‘s own culture was not possible.
