Kontrastīva frazeoloģismu izpēte Gintera Grasa romānā "Skārda bungas" un to tulkojums latviešu valodā

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba nosaukums ir "Kontrastīva frazeoloģismu izpēte Gintera Grasa romānā Skārda bungas un to tulkojums latviešu valodā". Pētot šo jautājumu, autore ir iepazinusies ar frazeoloģijas teoriju, uzsvaru liekot uz raksturīgākajām pazīmēm, kas tandēmā ar klasifikācijas teoriju, palīdzētu svešvalodas apguvējam izšķirt brīvus no mūsu gadījumā frazeoloģiskiem vārdu savienojumiem, kā arī ļautu tos adekvāti izmantot turpmākajā valodas lietojumā. Par vienu no svarīgākajiem uzdevumiem ir izvirzīts atrast frazeoloģiskus veidojumus Gintera Grasa oriģināltekstā Die Blechtrommel un to paralēltulkojumu Silvijas Brices latviskajā versijā, kuri savukārt tālāk praktiskās daļas ietvaros, tiek sakārtoti četrās grupās, ņemot vērā tulkojuma pakāpi (ekvivalents; daļēji atbilstošs ar viena vai vairāku komponentu mutāciju; tulkots no frazeoloģsima uz citu atbilstoša satura frazeoloģismu; tulkots no frazeoloģisma uz brīvu vārdu savienojumu). Secinājumos tiek norādīts, ka darba gaitā un informācijas apstrādē ir pierādījies, ka frazeoloģisku vārdu savienojumu tulkošana ir liels izaicinājums katram, jo īpaši tiem, kuriem mērķa vai avota valoda nav dzimtā valoda, un, lai sniegtu kvalitatīvu tulkojumu, ir jābūt ne tikai izcilām valodas zināšanām, bet arī konkrētās kultūras un vēstures izpratnei, jo frazeoloģismi ir īpaši veidojumi, kuru izcelšanās meklējama jau izsenis, tajā pašā laikā, tie turpina attīstīties un bagātināt mūsu laikmetīgo valodu.

The title of this bachelor studies research paper is "A contrastive study of idiomatic expressions in novel by Gunter Grass The tin drum and their translation in Latvian". While researching the matter, the author has approached the theory of phraseology, focusing on the most common features. Therefor this approach, in tandem with the theory of classification, might help the learner of foreign language to separate the idiomatic phrases from free phrases and would help to use idioms properly in the regular use of language. Finding and identifying the phrasemes in Günter Grass’ original text Die Blechtrommel and the Latvian translation by Silvija Brice, is one of the most important tasks in the thesis. In the practical part of thesis, the previously mentioned idioms or phrasemes will be arranged in four groups, according to the level of equivalence in the translation (equivalent; partly reciprocal with the mutation of one or many components; idiom to another appropriate content idiom; idiom to any suitable free phrase). As a conclusion it has been proved that, while working with the information and texts, the interpretation and translation of idioms is a great challenge, especially for the ones to whom the original language of the text is foreign and in order to present a high quality translation, interpreter must not only have excellent knowledge of the language but also a deep comprehension of the culture and history, because idioms are special structures which have been in our languages ages ago, but still are developing and enriching our contemporary language.
