Piebildes izpausmes veidi lietišķajā angļu rakstu valodā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs pēta galvenos piebildes izpausmes veidus angļu valodā, kas ir atrodami darījumu angļu valodas atskaitēs,jo īpaši, novērtējuma atskaitēs. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt darījumu atskaitēs atrodamos ziņošanas darbības vārdus un izpētīt to nozīmi un pielietojumu. Pētījuma teorētiskā daļa ietver literatūras apskatu par runas ziņojumiem, to funkcijām, kā arī literatūras pārskatu par piebildes izpausmes veidiem. Tālāk darbā tiek detalizētāk aplūkoti tādi piebildes izpausmes veidi kā darbības vārdi. Pēcāk tiek salīdzināti dažādu autoru piedāvātie piepildes izpausmes veidi. Otrajā daļā darba autors apraksta pētījumā pielietotās metodes un darba norises gaitu. Kā arī, darba gaita tiek sīkāk izklāstīta šajā daļā. Empīriskajā daļā darba autors analizē korpusā atrastos piemērus, to lietojumu un sadalījumu izvēlētajās atskaitēs. Pēc tam, kad analīze tika pabeigta, darba autors varēja noteikt konkrētu ziņošanas darbības vārdu lietojumu novērtējuma atskaitēs. Visbiežāk novērtējumu atskaitēs tika lietoti tādi ziņošanas darbības vārdi kā, sajūst, komentēt, un norādīt, tā kā rezultāti nebija prognozējami, tad pēcāk empīriskajā daļā tiek analizēti šie rezultāti.

The present Bachelor thesis investigates the main characteristics of English reporting expressions in business reports, and in the evaluation reports in particular. The research goal is to identify the reporting verbs used in Business reports and investigate their meaning and distribution. The theoretical part of the present research includes a literature review on reported speech, its functional characteristics as well as a review of the literature on reporting expressions. Furthermore, the research focuses on such reporting expressions as reporting verbs. It is followed by a comparison of reporting verbs’ classifications proposed by several authors. In the second chapter the author describes the research methodology and the research procedure applied in the study. In addition, the method of the research data collection from the evaluation reports is explained. In the empirical part of the paper the results of the reporting verbs identified in the corpus are provided, moreover the author examines the use and distribution of these reporting verbs. After the analysis, the author determines a specific use of the reporting verbs in the evaluation reports. Such reporting verbs as feel, to comment and to indicate are quite frequently used in the evaluation reports. These are rather counterintuitive results and further the examples of these findings are discussed.
