Juridisko tekstu tulkošanas specifika Eiropas Savienības kontekstā, tulkojot no spāņu latviešu valodā

Abstract

Eiropas Savienība ir politiski ekonomiska institūcija, kuras viens no galvenajiem mērķiem ir dalībvalstu juridisko sistēmu saskaņošana. Tās pamatā ir ES Līgumi, kurus ir parakstījusi katra dalībvalsts. Eiropas Savienības Tiesa ir atbildīga par tiesību aktu ievērošanu. Tas liek ievērot daudzvalodu principu visos ES tiesas procesos un tāpēc juridiskais tulkojums ieņem nozīmīgu lomu ES. Bet pat šīs institūcijas kontekstā eksistē problēmas juridisko tekstu tulkošanā. Šajā darbā tiek analizēta juridisko tekstu tulkošanas specifika, pētot tekstus, kas ir saistīti ar autortiesību jomu. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta terminoloģijai un tās tulkošanai latviešu valodā. Salīdzinošās analīzes laikā tiek noteiktas juridisko terminu tulkošanā izmantotās stratēģijas un darba teorētisko daļu papildina praktiskā daļā – juridisko terminu bilingvālais glosārijs.

The European Union is a political and economic institution, which has as one of its objectives the harmonization of the national legal systems of the member states. The bases of this process are the Treaties of the EU signed by each member state. The Court of Justice of the EU guarantees the fulfillment of the terms of these treaties. It requires the maintaining of multilingualism in all the proceedings and because of that the legal translation has an important role in the EU. In this research the specifics of the legal translation concerning author’s rights have been studied while paying particular attention to the terminology. In the comparative analysis the translation strategies their conditions have been analyzed. The theoretical part is complemented by a bilingual glossary of legal terms.
