Zvērināta tulka un tulkotāja statuss Polijā un rekomendācijas Latvijai

Abstract

Maģistra darba ietvaros tika veikts mēģinājums noskaidrot, vai Latvijā būtu nepieciešams ieviest zvērināta tulka un tulkotāja statusa tiesisku noregulējumu. Darbā tika aprakstīta dažādu Eiropas valstu praksē šajā jautājumā. Padziļināti tikai izpētīts Polijas zvērinātu tulku un tulkotāju statuss, norādot tā vēsturi, tiesiskā noregulējumu, eksaminācijas kārtību, atbildību, sankcijas, kā arī praktiskus aspektus, kas saistīti ar šo profesiju. Darba ietvaros tika izanalizēts tulku un tulkotāju statuss Latvijas Republikā, kā arī izpētīti dažādi šīs profesijas aspekti. Lai noskaidrotu tulkošanas nozares viedokli par zvērināta tulka un tulkotāja statusa ieviešanu Latvijā, tika veikta aptauja tulkošanas nozares pārstāvju vidū

The present Master Thesis was conducted as an attempt to find out whether it would be necessary to introduce the legal regulation for the status of sworn translators in Latvia. The paper presents the experience of different European countries. The thesis provides an in-depth study of the status of Polish sworn translators by showing its history, legal regulation, assesment procedures, responsibilities, sanctions and practical aspects of the profession. The paper also analyses the status of translators in Latvia and explores various aspects of the profession. The paper presents the results of the survey carried out to find the stand of the translation industry in Latvia on the implementation of the status of sworn translator. At the end of the paper some recommendations are made.
