Virtualitāte un laiktēls: Žila Delēza kinoestētika

Abstract

Maģistra darbā tiek aplūkota Žila Delēza kinoestētika caur diviem savstarpēji saistītiem jēdzieniem - virtualitāti un laiktēlu, atklājot to struktūru un kontekstualizējot attiecībā pret kinoestētiku, tādējādi skaidrojot laika nozīmes pieagumu modernajā kino. Laicisko attiecību, laiciskuma problemātikas un laika tēmas risinājums Delēza kinoestētikā ilustrēts ar piemēriem no kinofilmām, reizē pievēršot uzmanību kino tehnisko aspektu ietekmei uz filozofisko atziņu formulēšanu. Šeit jāatzīmē montāžas, skaņas un kameras kustības ietekme uz laikapziņu un jo īpaši virtualitātes un laiktēla nojēgumu attīstību, un to kā tie tiek realizēti kino caur sapni, retrospekciju un iztēloto laiku. Darba noslēgumā tiek ieskicētas virtualitātes un laiktēla ieviestās inovācijas filozofiski estētisko konceptu jaunrades un tapšanas idejās kino ietvaros.

This paper examines Gilles Deleuze's cinema aesthetics through the inter-related concepts of virtuality and time-image. By uncovering their structure and placing them in the context of cinema aesthetics an attempt is made at explaining the rising importance of time in the modern cinema. The way Deleuze's cinema aesthetics manage time relations, temporality and the topic of time in general is illustrated through examples from various pictures, at the same time examining the influence that the technical aspects of the cinema have on the formulation of philosophical notions. In particular, attention is given to the influence that montage, sound and camera movement have on the perception of time and the development of the notions of virtuality and time-image, and the realization of the afore-mentioned aspects through such cinematic devices as dreams, flashbacks and imagined time. The concluding part of this paper discusses the innovations brought about by the concepts of virtuality and time-image in the context of creation and development of philosophical and aesthetic notions in the cinematic discourse.
