Džomon perioda māla figūras (dogu) simboliskā nozīme un pielietojums

Abstract

Šajā darbā tiek pētītas Japānas Džōmon perioda (aptuveni 12000. g. pmē. – 300. g. pmē.) māla figūriņas dogu (土偶 – dōgu) un to izmantošanas veidi gan perioda ietvaros, gan mūsdienās. Pētījumā tiek izmantota salīdzināšanas metode, ar kuras palīdzību dogu figūriņas un to nozīme tiek salīdzinātas ar Eiropas Akmens laikmeta Venēras figūriņām. Šī izpēte tiek veikta tādēļ, ka par dogu figūriņām joprojām nav pārāk daudz informācijas. Darbā tiek aprakstīti arī arheoloģiskie izrakumi un dažādi pētījumi, ko veikuši dažādu valstu pētnieki un vēsturnieki, un sniegts pārskats par viņu izvirzītajām hipotēzēm attiecībā uz figūriņu iespējamiem izmantošanas veidiem un nozīmi. Darba laikā iegūtie secinājumi norāda uz to, ka Džōmon periodā šīm figūriņām bija vairāki iespējamie izmantošanas veidi, bet to patiesais pielietojums, iespējams, nekad netiks atklāts. Ir interesanti vērot kā šīs figūriņas tiek interpretētas mūsdienu sabiedrībā un kultūrā. Varētu būt, ka mūsdienu skatījums uz šīm figūriņām kaut kādā veidā sasaucas ar pagātnes idejām.

In this scientific work the research is about the Japanese Jomon period (approximately 12000 BC – 300 BC) clay figurines, called dogu (土偶 – dōgu), and how they were used. Comparative research was used in this work to compare the Jomon period dogu figurines and their meaning with Venus figurines made in Stone Age Europe. This research was done because there is still a severe lack of information concerning the dogu. This work will also include an overview of various archaeological diggings and research, which have been made by researchers and historians of various countries. This overview will include their hypothesis about the possible meaning and use of the figurines. The conclusions made during the writing of this paper point out that in Jomon society these figurines had various types of use. However, their true meaning could never be found. It’s interesting to watch how these figures are interpreted in modern society and culture. It is possible that the modern look on these figurines, in some way, is alike to their use in the past.
