Forbes konferences rakstveida žanri

Abstract

Šī pētījuma galvenais mērķis ir noteikt Forbes konferences rakstveida žanrus, to retoriskos posmus un soļus (moves and steps). Astoņas konferences no Forbes tiešsaites kalpoja kā pētījumā prieksmets, lai izpētītu tai raksturīgus žanrus. Darba pirmā daļa balstās uz sekundāro avotu izpētī par žanriem, intertekstualitāti, retorisku posmu un soļu struktūru. Otrājā daļa ir aplūkota empiriskā daļa, kas ietver sevī konferences rakstveida žanru noteikšanu, to posmu un soļu struktūru un to lingvistisko iezīmju analīzi. Teorētiska un empīriskā daļa atklāja, ka visās 8 konferencēs tipiskie žanri bija konfrerences dienas kārtība, pārskati, un preses relīzes. Žanriem piemīt vienādi posmi un soļi, ka arī lingvistiskas iezīmēs tajās īpaši neatšķirās.

The main aim of this study is to identify written genres of Forbes conferences and describe their moves and steps. Eight conferences from Forbes served as a subject of this research selected to investigate the recurrent genres. The first part of the research is based on the review of secondary sources on genres; intertextuality and the concept of move structure. The thesis then deals with the empirical investigation, involving identification of conference written genres, following with the description of moves and steps analysis as well as linguistic features. The theoretical framework and the empirical part showed that there are similar genres in all eight conferences, namely conference agendas, overviews and press releases. Moves and steps also demonstrate consistency and the linguistic features do not differ considerably.
