Dzimtes lomas luterāņu draudzē – „dabiskais” un „tradicionālais”

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Dzimtes lomas luterāņu draudzē – “dabiskais” un “tradicionālais”” ir pētījums par to, kā dzimtes lomas tiek definētas un argumentētas kādā Rīgas luterāņu draudzē organizētā pirmslaulību seminārā, vēršot uzmanību uz to, kā veidojas priekšstati un kā dzimtes lomas tiek pamatotas Baznīcā, draudzē, seminārā un semināra apmeklētāju ģimenēs. Caur dzimtes lomām ir iespējams veidot un pamatot noteiktu kārtību sabiedrībā. Pētījumā iepazīstot trīs savstarpēji saistītus dzimtes lomu argumentācijas līmeņus – Baznīcas, draudzes un individuālo, bija iespējams paraudzīties uz to, kā mūsdienās dzimtes lomu argumentācijā reliģiskā kontekstā patriarhālās ģimenes struktūras aizstāvēšana pastāv līdzās sabiedrībā arvien lielāku ietekmi gūstošajiem uzskatiem par dzimumu līdztiesību un vienlīdzību.

Bachelor’s paper “Gender Roles in a Lutheran Congregation – the “Natural” and the “Traditional”” is a research about how gender roles are defined and argued in a premarital seminar in one of the Lutheran congregations in Riga. I focus on how notions of gender roles in the Church, in the congregation, in the premarital seminar and in its participants’ families are created and justified. It is possible to create and justify a concrete order in society particularly through gender roles. Researching three interlinked gender role reasoning levels – the Church, the congregation and the individual level, it was possible to look at how nowadays gender role reasoning in a religious context is dependent both on the necessity to defend the patriarchal family structure and to be compatible with modern gender equality discourse.
