Prakses kopienas dažādie aspekti: Etnogrāfisks pētījums par coworking kopienu Rīgā

Abstract

Šajā pētījumā ar etnogrāfisku metožu palīdzību tiek izzināts, kā kļūšana par coworking kopienas locekli ietekmē pašnodarbināto darba pieredzi un identitāti, kā arī, kā kopienas veidošanās pētītajā coworking vietā ietekmē coworking praksi. Pētītajā coworking vietā tiek veicināta kopienas izveide, kuras rezultātā pašnodarbinātie veido profesionālas sadarbības, dalās zināšanās un mācās viens no otra. Kopienas sniegtais atbalsts rada iespēju pašnodarbinātajiem pretoties nevēlamām subjekta pozīcijām, kas saistītas ar pāsnodarbinātību. Pētītajā coworking vietā konstruētie diskursīvie resursi sniedz iespēju pašnodarbinātajiem veidot savu identitāti, balstoties uz šiem diskursīvajiem, kontekstuālajiem resursiem. Kolektīvā coworking prakse norāda uz coworking kustības attīstību.

This study investigates how becoming a member of a coworking community affects the work experience and identity of self-employed workers and how, in turn, community development affects the practice of coworking. In the researched coworking place that fosters community development, self-employed coworkers engage in knowledge sharing and learning, particularly in the form of collaborations. The researched coworking community provides a supportive environment for workers, enabling them to resist undesirable subject positions related to self-employment. Various discursive resources constructed in the coworking place provide the opportunity for self-employed workers to draw on these resources in their identity work. The collective practice of coworking shows signs of an emerging social movement.
