Jaunās tendences dievturībā 21. gadsimtā

Abstract

Annas Lieckalniņas maģistra darba nosaukums ir „Jaunās tendences dievturībā 21. gadsimtā”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt dievturības jaunās tendences mācībā un praksē. Darba tēze: dievturības fragmentāciju mūsdienās veicina globalizācijas ietekme un līdzšinējās pre-trunīgās tendences dievturu uzskatos un praksē. Darbs sastāv no ievada, trim nodaļām un secinājumiem. Nodaļās ir risināti šādi jautājumi: dievturības vēsturiskā veidošanās un attīstība, dievturība kā reliģiska organizācija mūsdienās un tās aktuālo notikumu pārskats, lauka pētījums par jaunajām tendencēm, sarunājoties un anketējot dievturus, kā arī papildu izpēte sociālajā vidē. Galvenās atziņas, kas radušās darba gaitā: dievturība mūsdienās ir reliģiski nacionāla organizācija, reliģijas dibinātāju Ernesta Brastiņa un Kārļa Bregža mācības dievturiem nav primāras, dievturība ietekmējas no globālajām tendencēm. Darba mērķa sasniegšanai tika veikts lauka pētījums. Atslēgvārdi: dievturi, nacionālisms, pagānisms.

The theme of Anna Lieckalniņa’s Master’s paper is „New trends in Dievturība (re-vived ancient Latvian Pagan religion based on moral principles expressed in the Latvian folklore) in the 21st century”. The goal of the paper is to study the recent trends in Dievturība regarding both religious education and practice. The thesis of the paper: at the present time fragmentation of Dievturība is influenced by the impact of globalization and current contradictory trends in viewpoints and practices among Dievturi (members of Dievturība). The paper consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusions. Chapters deal with following issues: historical formation and development of Dievturība, Dievturība as a religious organization at the present time and a review of its current events, field research regarding the new trends through conversations and inquiries with Dievturi, as well as an additional research in social environment. Main conclusions resulting from the research of the paper: at the present time Dievturība is a national-religious organisation, religious education established by the founders of the movement Ernests Brastiņš and Kārlis Bregžis are not regarded as primary among Dievturi, Dievturība is influenced by global trends and it is evolving.
