Romas impērija un goti (238-410)

Abstract

Darbs “Romas impērija un goti (238-410)” veidots kā Romas impērijas un gotu attiecību apskats laika posmā no gotu ienākšanas pie impērijas robežām trešā gadsimta laikā līdz Romas ieņemšanai 410. gadā, kas iezīmēja impērijas varenības beigas un būtiski mainīja attiecību raksturu. Lai veikmīgāk pētītu gotu faktora ietekmi uz impērijas attīstību, darba gaitā raksturota gan Romas impērijas attīstība tās norieta posmā, gan gotu izcelsmes problēma. Attiecības Romas impērijas un gotu starpā strukturētas trīs periodos, katrā no tiem analizējot specifiskās problēmas un to risināšanas paņēmiemus.

Bachelor work “Roman Empire and the Goths (238-410)” designed as review of relations between Roman Empire and the Goths since Gothic arrival withink empire’s borders in third century until the sack of Rome in 410th year which marked the end of empire’s power and significantly changed the nature of relationships. To explore Gothic factor impact on the development of the empire more successfully, during the research has been analysed either development of the Roman Empire in its decline phase and Gothic origins problem. Relationships between the Roman Empire and Goths are structured in three periods, in each of them analysing specific problems and their solution methods.
