Bakalaura darba “ Zaļās kāpas veidošanās un nogulumu raksturojums” pētījuma mērķis bija, balstoties uz lauka un laboratorijas pētījumos iegūtajiem rezultātiem, noskaidrot Zaļās kāpas veidošanos un tās nogulumu raksturu, to uzkrāšanās apstākļus. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka Zaļā kāpa ir daļa no unikāla Litorīnas krasta kāpu valņa, kura ģeoloģiskā uzbūve nav detāli pētīti, bet tas nepieciešams, lai izvēlētos, kā labāk apsaimniekot tās teritoriju.
Pētījumā veikto lauka darbu un laboratorijas pētījumu, tai skaitā nogulumu granulometriskā sastāva, graudu noapaļotības un virsmas analīžu rezultāti un to interpretācija ļāva secināt, ka Zaļā kāpa ir veidojusies pirms Litorīnas jūras stadijas un tās nogulumiem raksturīgs līdzīgs granulometriskais sastāvs un neliels noapaļoto graudu daudzums. Tas liek domāt, ka Zaļās kāpas veidošanās un sākotnējā attīstība ir notikusi eolo preocesu rezultātā. | en_US |

The aim of Bachelor Thesis “Formation of the Green Dune and deposit characteristics”, based on results obtained from field and laboratory research, was to determine the formation of the Green Dune and its deposit characteristics and accumulation conditions.
The Green Dune is a part of unique Littorina Sea coast dune rampart, which geological structure has not been studied in detail, but it is neccesary to define the most suitable way to manage its territory.
The results from the field and laboratory research, including deposit granulometric composition, grain roundness and surface texture analysis and their interpretation led to conclusion that the Green Dune has been formed before Littorina Sea stage and its deposits have similiar granulometric composition and small number of rounded grains. It suggests that the formation of the Green Dune and its initial development happened due the result of the aeolian processes. | en_US |
