Sinonīmijas problēma franču medicīnas terminoloģijā un tās ietekme uz tulkojumu latviešu valodā

Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs ar nosaukumu "Sinonīmijas problēma franču medicīnas terminoloģijā un tās ietekme uz tulkojumu lativiešu valodā" pētī sinonīmiju medicīniskajā tulkošanā, kas sevī ietver specifiskas grūtības. Sinonīmija ir viena no biežāk sastopamajām parādībām, ar ko tulkotājam ir jāsastopas, lai radītu paredzētajai publikai adekvātu tekstu. Teorētiskā daļa, kas balstās uz Kabrē, Lomma, Van Hūfa, Rulo, Lavo-Oleonas un citu teorētiķu darbiem, ir sintēze par medicīnisko terminoloģiju un tās radītajām problēmām, un par sinonīmijas problēmu medicīniskajā tulkošanā. Analītiskā daļa sastāv no trīs posmiem – terminu klasifikācijas, sinonīmijas pētīšanas franču medicīnas terminoloģijā un tās atspoguļojumu tulkojumā.

This research called "The problem of synonymy in French medical terminology and its impact on translation practice towards Latvian" is a study of synonymy in medical translation. It can have specific difficulties and synonymy is one of the most frequent phenomenon that a translator must face in order to produce an adequate text for the aimed public. Theoretical part of this research is composed of a synthesis on medical terminology and it’s issues, on the one hand, and the problem of synonymy, on the other hand. The theory is based on the works of Cabré, L’Homme, Van-Hoof, Jammal, Rouleau, Lavault-Olléon and others. Whilst, practical part is an analysis of medical terms from instructions of medicine. The analysis consists of three steps – classification of terms, a study of synonymy in French medical terminology and its relevance in translation.
