Naturālisma iezīmes Ovidija darbā Metamorfozes

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Naturālisma iezīmes Ovidija darbā Metamorfozes. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kāda nozīme ir naturālismam Ovidija poēmas Metamorfozes mākslinieciskajā veidojumā. Darbā tiek analizētas konkrētas epizodes, kurās jaušamas naturālisma iezīmes un tā funkcijas poēmā kopumā. Teorētiskā daļa, kas sastāv no divām nodaļām, tiek balstīta uz pieejamo zinātnisko un teorētisko literatūru, ar kuras palīdzību tiek noskaidrots naturālisma jēdziens un tam raksturīgās iezīmes. Praktiskā daļa tiek iedalīta divās galvenajās nodaļās un divās apakšnodaļās, kurās tiek pētīta naturālisma funkcija poēmā. Tiek secināts, ka ar naturālistiskiem aprakstiem, Ovidijs pauž savu viedokli par pasaulē notiekošo kārtību un, izmantojot naturālistiskus lietu un notikumu aprakstus, pietuvina lasītājus realitātei.

The main objective of the work is to analyse the role that naturalism plays in Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Through careful examination of Ovid’s work, key passages and episodes have been identified that demonstrate Ovid’s use of naturalism, and demonstrates the function that naturalism plays in the whole poem. The theoretical part of the paper consists of two chapters. The practical element of the paper is divided into two primary elements and two secondary elements. The division of the paper in this manner allows for the poem to be scrutinised methodically, enabling an effective summary of naturalism and it’s significance. In conclusion Ovid has demonstrated the power of naturalism as an effective writing device, in order to convey his worldview to the reader. By utilising naturalism, Ovid effectively directs the reader closer to reality
