Zelta un naudas mītiskie un sociālpsiholoģiskie aspekti A. Upīša romānos līdz 1914. gadam

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Zelta un naudas mītiskie un sociālpsiholoģiskie aspekti A. Upīša romānos līdz 1914. gadam” izpētes objekts ir zelta un naudas ietekmju funkcionēšanas veidi romānu — „Jauni avoti”, „Sieviete”, „Zīda tīklā” un „Zelts” varoņu apziņā. Pētījumā iezīmēta naudas/zelta motīva aktualitāte literārajos darbos gan Eiropas, gan latviešu literatūrā līdz 20. gs. Ar zelta tēlu A. Upīts tiecas atklāt tā negatīvās izpausmes sociālajā vidē, uzsverot to neizbēgamību kapitālistiskajā sabiedrībā. Darbā tiek akcentēts, ka zeltam tāpat kā latviešu folklorā, arī romānos tiek piešķirta sakrāla vērtība, turklāt bagātība kapitālistiskajā sabiedrībā tiek attēlota kā augstākā sasniedzamā pakāpe. Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā tiek raksturotas zelta un naudas mitoloģiskās funkcijas, kā arī tiek aplūkota bagātība sociālpsiholoģiskā aspektā, savukārt praktisko daļu veido romānu analīze mītiskā un sociālpsiholoģiskā aspektā.

The bachelor paper’s „Mythical and Socio-psychological Aspects of Gold and Money in A. Upitis Novels until 1914” research object explores the functionality manners of the effects of gold and money on the consciousness of personages from the novels — „Jauni avoti”, „Sieviete”, „Zīda tīklā” and „Zelts”. The theme topicality of money/gold in literary works of European and and Latvian literature until the 20th century is marked in the research. With the character of gold A. Upits aspires to discover its negative manifestations in the social environment, emphasizing their inevitability in the capitalist society. It is accentuated in the paper, that gold is granted a sacral value in the novels, the same as in Latvian folklore, furthermore, wealth is portrayed as the highest achievable degree in the capitalist society. In the theoretical part of the research the mythological functions of gold and money are described, as well as wealth is viewed from a socio-psychological aspect, whilst the practical part consists of novel analysis from a mythical and socio-psychological aspect.
