Abstract

Bakalaura darbs Kultūras komponents Federiko Garsijas Lorkas lekciju tulkojumos. Spāņu, latviešu un franču teksta salīdzinošā analīze ir pētījums par kultūras komponenta tulkošanu, kuras procesuālā specifika var radīt zināmus šķēršļus tulkotājam. Teorētisko materiālu sintēze, kas balstās Monas Beikeres (Mona Baker), Lorensa Venuti (Lawrence Venuti), Pītera Ņūmarka (Peter Newmark) un citu zinātnieku darbos, tiecas izklāstīt tulkojumzinātnes kultūras pieeju rašanās priekšnosacījumus, kā arī būtiskākās pārdomas, kas veltītas kultūras komponenta kā reāliju kopuma pētniecībai, piedāvājot kultūras reāliju definīciju un klasifikāciju, to tulkošanas stratēģijas un kontekstuālos faktorus, kas ietekmē to izvēli. Savukārt praktiskā daļa tiecas noteikt šo ideju klātbūti reālos tulkojumos, balstoties spāņu- latviešu-franču valodas salīdzinošajā analīzē.

The thesis Cultural Component in the Translations of Federico García Lorca’s conferences. Comparative analysis of Spanish, Latvian and French Texts is an investigation of the translation of the cultural component, the procedural specifics of which can pose certain barriers to translators. The synthesis of theoretical material, which is based on Mona Bakers’, Lawrence Venuti’s, Peter Newmarks’ and the works of other scientists, aims to lay out the prerequisites for the emergence of cultural approaches in translation studies, as well as the essential thoughts on understanding the cultural component as a totality of realia, by offering a classification and definition of cultural realia, the strategies of their translation and contextual factors, which influence their choice. The empirical part strives to determine the presence of these ideas in actual translations by using a comparative analysis of Spanish, Latvian and French texts.
