Sama rituāla simboliskā nozīme

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Sama’ rituāla simboliskā nozīme”, darbā sama’ jeb samas rituāls tiek apskatīts trīs rakursos, respektīvi, no rituāla izcelsmes, rituāla norises un rituāla efektu skatpunktiem. Darbā pētīti sūfiju samas rituāla dažādu aspektu simboliskā nozīme, jo tieši simbolisms ir galvenā rituāla vadlīnija. Izpētot seno sūfiju rakstu pieminekļus un izmantojot zinātnisko literatūru, kas sarakstīta par šo tematu, darbā ir pētīta samas simboliskā nozīme. Rezultātā iegūti secinājumi, ka, neskatoties uz to, ka mūsdienu zinātniskie avoti pārsvarā samas būtisko lomu apstiprina, seno autoru darbos, ja vien tie nav bijuši absolūti samas entuziasti, domas dalās.

The title of the bachelor’s thesis is „Symbolic meaning of the sama’ ritual”. The topic has been addressed from three angles – the foundation of the ritual, the process itself, and the (possible) effects a devotee can get out of it. In this thesis the Sufi ritual has been explored through the symbolical prism, because it seem that it is the main cause for it and therefore the most important and profound. The symbolic meaning of the ritual has been researched by studying the writings of ancient sufi writers, and by using contemporary scientific literature on the subject. As a result we see that, although the scientific texts usually confirm the importance of sama’, the thoughts of ancient Sufis are divided.
